John Thornborrow is the Managing Partner of Cura Health Fund and the Chief Venture Officer at Design Run Group. John is a seasoned entrepreneur and impact investor based in Austin, Texas. With 30 years of executive experience in public and private companies, he has successfully navigated both large and small ventures, achieving multiple exits as an operator and investor. His dedication to cancer care stems from personal loss, having lost his grandmother, father, and sister to the disease. John holds a B.S. from Texas A&M University and an M.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin.
